2007-08 Requirements for the M.A. in Art History

Advisor

The graduate officer will advise all entering graduate students and any graduate students who have yet to choose an advisor. After entrance, master's students are expected to select an advisor from among the graduate faculty in art history before or during their second semester of study (excluding summers). This must be done in time for pre-registration for the next semester. The advisor is generally the faculty member who will supervise the student's master's thesis/paper. Graduate students must have their choice of courses approved by their advisor.
