Advisors

All students majoring in Art History or minoring in Art History or Architectural History will be assigned a faculty advisor in the Department of Art History. Please see Christine Butts in the Art History Office (229 Arts Building) for the assignment of your advisor. Christine coordinates the undergraduate advising for the Department of Art History. She can answer many procedural questions about the major or minors. Majors or minors should consult with their faculty advisor in the Department of Art History at least once a semester, when they are registering for the coming semester. Faculty advisors can be particularly helpful in selecting a meaningful and rewarding program of study, as well as advising about study abroad programs, internships, career opportunities, and/or preparation for graduate school.
