Requirements for the art history minor: 21 credits

A grade of C or better is required for all courses in the minor.

    PRESCRIBED COURSES: 9 credits (suggested semester: 1-4)
  • ART H 111 GA (3) Ancient to Medieval Art
  • ART H 112 GA (3) Renaissance to Modern Art
  • ART H 120 GA;GI (3) Asian Art and Architecture
    SUPPORTING COURSES AND RELATED AREAS: 12 credits (sem: 3-8)
  • Select 6 credits of 100- to 400-level ART H courses (except ART H 100 GA)
  • Select 6 credits of 400-level ART H courses)

(Note: Students are encouraged to use these 12 credits to focus their studies in one or two areas of art history and should discuss these course selections with an Art History faculty member.)
