Study Abroad
All students of art and architectural history are strongly encouraged
to study abroad so that they can experience other cultures, visit major
museums and historic buildings, and better understand the cities, landscapes,
and societies that have shaped the history of art and architecture.
The Department of Art History is a co-sponsor of Penn State's education
abroad program conducted every summer in Todi, Italy. Other study abroad
experiences that have been popular with Penn State Art History majors
are the Rome, Italy, program that Penn State conducts in affiliation with
Temple University and Penn State's Athens, Greece, spring semester program.
