Affiliate Faculty
Education Ms. Kletchka specializes in art museum education and teaches museum studies. Before arriving at Penn State in 2000, she held positions at the Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the Spencer Museum of Art at the University of Kansas. She has published several articles in the journal Art Education in addition to currently serving on its review panel. She is also a manuscript reviewer for From Periphery to Center: Art Museum Education in the 21st Century, an upcoming art museum education anthology, and Curriculum for a Progressive, Provocative, Poetic, and Public Pedagogy, a collection of papers and performances from the 2005 Curriculum and Pedagogy conference. She regularly presents sessions on the intersections of history, theory, and practice in art museum education at professional conferences. Ms. Kletchka is currently writing her dissertation as a Ph.D. candidate in the art education program at Penn State. |
