Affiliate Faculty
Education Patrick McGrady teaches courses in late ninteenth- and early twentieth-century European art. Before coming to Penn State in 1992, he was head of public programs at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. As the Charles V. Hallman Curator at the Palmer Museum of Art, he oversees the museum's European collections and specializes in works on paper. Among the recent exhibitions he has organized are Old Master Prints from the Permanent Collection and Ukiyo-e: Japanese Woodblock Prints. He is currently preparing an exhibition of etchings by Edouard Manet and several of his colleagues, including Félix Bracquemond, Alphonse Legros, and Marcellin Desboutin. |
